What this does

Do not enter Etsy credentials or treat historical Etsy controls and articles as a supported publishing workflow.

Before you begin

  • Shopify is ArtDrop’s only supported storefront today.
  • Etsy credential-test endpoints may still exist for compatibility, but listing dispatch is disabled.

What changes outside ArtDrop

Reading this page changes nothing. ArtDrop does not authorize an Etsy shop, create Etsy listings, or route physical Etsy products through a provider.

Steps

  1. Use Shopify for storefront publication

    Connect and explicitly select the intended Shopify store before a drop.

  2. Treat old Etsy controls as retired

    Do not use a visible legacy field, test endpoint, archived guide, or provider connection as evidence that Etsy publication is supported.

  3. Manage Etsy independently

    If you sell on Etsy, use Etsy’s own seller tools or a provider workflow you configure outside ArtDrop, and verify its current policies and fees.

  4. Report stale UI

    If ArtDrop offers an Etsy publishing action, stop and send the page URL and a redacted screenshot to support.

Expected result

No Etsy destination appears as a supported ArtDrop publishing route, and Shopify remains the selected storefront.

Limits and non-goals

  • ArtDrop does not create Etsy digital downloads or physical POD listings.
  • Review & Publish does not hold or publish Etsy routes.
  • A provider’s independent Etsy connection is outside ArtDrop and is not an ArtDrop feature.

Troubleshooting

  • If an old page says Etsy is beta or access-gated, treat that statement as stale and use this retired-status guide.
  • If a historical authorization exists, revoke it in Etsy and remove any stale values from ArtDrop before sharing diagnostics.

How to undo or clean up

Revoke any historical Etsy authorization in Etsy, remove stale credentials from ArtDrop, and clean Etsy listings or provider products in the service that owns them.
