- Store UI, tenant isolation, and fail-closed routing contracts were verified. Real publication to every additional provider destination was not re-run in final certification.
What this does
Add destinations, inspect health, select the active store, and fail closed when a route is incomplete.
Before you begin
- One store is included. Each additional store is $19/month on Web or $149 one time on Mac. If the public Shopify App Store rail is approved and enabled later, each Shopify-installed shop will subscribe separately through Shopify.
- Each destination needs its own storefront connection and explicit provider destination mapping.
What changes outside ArtDrop
Selecting a store changes the destination used throughout the app. Removing a store deletes only ArtDrop connection and routing records; it does not revoke, uninstall, cancel, or delete external records.
Steps
-
Inspect Stores
Open Stores, use Search, Platform, and Needs attention only, then choose Refresh. Coming soon channels such as TikTok Shop and Pinterest are not active connection filters.
-
Add or test a destination
Choose Add store for a supported platform. On an existing card use Test connection, then resolve every Needs attention item before routing work.
-
Select the working store
Choose Work in this store. Confirm the Drop Zone Dropping to: badge before each upload.
-
Configure voice and lines
Store voice, copy-across, and Product lines currently live in the Storefront settings surface, not the modern Stores editor. Copying settings copies voice and lines, never credentials.
-
Confirm provider routing
Additional Shopify destinations need explicit Gelato store, Printful store, or Printify shop mappings. Current customer UI does not expose every additional-Shopify provider ID; an incomplete route fails closed and may require support.
Expected result
The selected store is visible app-wide, connection health is clear, and an unknown store or line stops instead of falling back to the primary store.
Limits and non-goals
- The modern Stores page manages connections; the older Storefront settings surface manages voice and product lines.
- A concurrent edit conflict requires reload; do not overwrite a newer revision.
Troubleshooting
- If a non-default destination reports a missing provider ID, stop. There is no safe fallback to the root provider destination.
- If removal is blocked, finish or reconcile active work before trying again.
How to undo or clean up
Reconnect a removed store as a new setup action. Revoke OAuth or tokens and cancel any related billing in the external service separately.
