What
shipped.

Every feature in ArtDrop v1.0. What's here, what it does, what's coming next.

v1.0.2 April 28, 2026 Latest
Setup Wizard
Five steps, not seven. Wizard reordered to 1 Storefront, 2 Storage, 3 Printers, 4 Social, 5 Copy. Templates fold into Printers (configure them inline per provider). The separate Copy step and Voice and Identity step both fold into one. Less back-and-forth, fewer tabs, same coverage.
Self-serve Shopify install. The Storefront step now hands you a Partner-app install link. Click through, approve the scopes Shopify shows you, land back in ArtDrop with the connection done. The manual access-token path still works as an alternative.
Storage required when B2 is selected. When B2 is the chosen storage backend, every B2 field is required, the wizard won't let you continue with anything blank. Fewer "why didn't my upload work" moments later.
Preflight reads cleanly at 4 of 4. "All 4 connected. Step through to confirm your settings, then you're ready to drop your first artwork." (Replaces the misleading "fill the gap" line.)
Voice Trainer & Image Trainer
Voice Trainer lives under Copy and Data. No more separate sidebar entry. Click Analyze Voice on a website URL or a passage of your existing copy, and ArtDrop applies the rules straight to your form fields. The page scrolls to show the first field that changed and the status reads "Voice profile applied, review the fields below." No preview card, no Accept button.
Image Trainer is a real conversation now. Drop an image, ArtDrop describes it, you chat back to refine, ArtDrop rewrites. Tags persist across iterations along with the rest. Live status during the analysis ("Reading your image..." → "Writing your copy..." → "Drafting descriptions..." → "Almost there...") plus a thumbnail that stays put.
Safety floor. A small always-on never-use list blocks profanity, slurs, and similar terms in generated copy regardless of your voice training. Everything else, you control.
NSFW URL guard on the Voice Trainer Website analyzer. Adult-content URLs (porn, OnlyFans, and similar) get rejected with a clear error instead of being scraped.
Backup & Restore
Config exports carry metadata. Each export now starts with a small block (when it was exported, by whom, app version, license) so you can tell two configs apart at a glance. Useful when seeding a new machine or sharing settings.
v1.0.1 April 16, 2026
Setup Wizard
Seven numbered wizard tabs. New order: 1 Storefront, 2 Printers, 3 Templates, 4 Storage, 5 Copy, 6 Voice, 7 Test. Storefront and Printers are separate tabs, Templates comes right after Printers so product setup flows naturally, and the copy engine key lives in its own step instead of buried under Storage.
Copy generation is optional, and now it's obvious. The Copy step asks "Do you want ArtDrop to write your copy for you?" Pick Yes and paste your copy engine key. Pick No and set each field (title, description, SEO, alt text) to either Filename mode (the artwork's file name becomes the title) or Template mode (you define a reusable string). Core publishing to Shopify and every POD provider works identically either way.
EXIF camera data toggle. If your files carry camera, lens, ISO, shutter, or GPS metadata, ArtDrop can include it in Shopify listings as description text, hidden tags, or not at all. You pick. Default is Full, for a cleaner presentation switch to Tags only or Off.
Mac desktop app available. Signed and notarized by Apple. Download from /download or grab it right from the post-purchase email. The same license key unlocks the web app and the Mac app, up to two devices total.
Shopify access token first. Paste your shpat_ admin API access token directly. No more Client ID and Client Secret fields up front. We hide the OAuth plumbing until you need it.
Live Printify pricing. When you pick a new Printify blueprint, ArtDrop fetches real production costs from Printify's API so the margin calculator reflects your actual variant prices.
Config round-trip. Download your setup as a JSON file, then reload it later or on a different device. Everything but the API keys travels with the file.
Accessibility & Polish
Bigger, consistent type. Every font size in the app now maps to a shared scale with a higher minimum. Small text is easier to read, and the whole app scales in lockstep.
Full Spanish UI. Contact, Disclaimer, Thanks, and the entire FAQ are now available in Spanish. Language switcher in the nav.
Provider cost comparison. Side-by-side production cost table across 20 product categories. Printify live data, Gelato and Printful static estimates.
Security
Strict CSP. All 155 inline event handlers migrated to delegated listeners. No inline JavaScript is allowed anywhere in the app.
Login page. Enter your license key to sign in. Rate-limited to five attempts per five minutes per IP.
Per-user file isolation. Your uploads and artifacts live in a private workspace scoped to your session.
v1.0.0 March 31, 2026 Launch
Core Pipeline
Drop to published in minutes. Drop an image, ArtDrop reads it, writes the copy, creates products across your providers, publishes to Shopify, and posts to social. Zero manual steps after initial setup.
Three providers, one drop. Gelato, Printful, and Printify all run simultaneously. Use one or all three, ArtDrop publishes to every provider you've connected from the same drop.
Shopify access-token setup. Paste the Admin API access token from your Shopify custom app (the one that starts with shpat_). ArtDrop handles store organization, SEO metadata, tags, and navigation menus automatically on every drop. One-click OAuth is on the roadmap, pending Shopify app approval.
Social publishing built in. Bluesky and Pinterest work out of the box with a handle and an API token. Instagram, Facebook, and Threads posting is implemented and activates once Meta approves the ArtDrop app, no code changes required on your end.
Voice Trainer. Teach ArtDrop your writing style in plain conversation. React to copy, "too flowery," "shorter," "never say that word", and it saves your rules. No forms, no prompts, no guesswork.
Web App
Runs in any browser. Mac, Windows, iPad, phone. Same ArtDrop, no install required.
Add to home screen. On iPhone and Android you can save ArtDrop to your home screen from the browser. Full PWA install with offline support is on the roadmap.
Two ways to own it. $39/mo gets you the hosted web app (any browser, cancel any time). $399 one-time gets you the native macOS app on up to 2 Macs. Windows desktop is on the roadmap.
Built-in Assistant
Always available. Press Shift + ? anywhere in the app, or click the help button. The panel slides in without breaking your flow.
Context-aware. The assistant knows what page and step you're on. It doesn't give you the same generic help text regardless of where you are.
Full product knowledge base. Answers from a complete internal knowledge base, not a search bar, not a link to docs. Ask it anything about setup, providers, or the pipeline.
What's Next
WooCommerce and Etsy storefronts
Digital downloads
Analytics dashboard, drop performance, revenue, provider comparison
// v1.0 is live
Everything above. $39/mo web or $399 Mac.
Pick the hosted web app (monthly) or the native Mac app (one-time, lifetime). No per-drop fees either way. Windows desktop on the roadmap.
