What this does

ArtDrop can use a fabric blueprint returned by Printify's current catalog search. It submits one image placement and does not create a repeat pattern. Printify and a physical sample are the authorities for the resulting fabric.

Before you begin

  • Connect Printify and select the exact Shop ID for the intended Shopify or Etsy channel.
  • Use the Fabric by the yard discovery control or search the current Printify catalog. ArtDrop has no hardcoded allowlist of fabric names, blueprint IDs, providers, cuts, or dimensions.
  • Prepare the final source yourself. ArtDrop sends one image placement and does not generate a seamless or mirrored repeat.

What changes outside ArtDrop

Saving records the chosen Printify blueprint, provider, variants, prices, position, and scale. A drop creates a product with one image placement and sends a publication request to the selected shop.

Steps

  1. Search the current catalog

Open Add Printify Product and search for fabric. Search returns at most 50 matching blueprints, so a missing result is not proof that the wider Printify catalog lacks it.

  2. Choose the live provider data

Select the blueprint, print provider, cut variants, and prices from the results available to your Printify account. Verify names and dimensions in Printify instead of relying on fixed documentation.

  3. Supply one finished image placement

Set the saved position and scale for the single image. If your design needs repetition, construct that repetition in the source file before upload.

  4. Inspect a real product and sample

After Printify accepts the publish request, inspect the exact Printify product and storefront listing. Order a physical sample to verify crop, scale, substrate, color, and any provider-side repeat behavior.

Expected result

The exact Printify product contains the selected variants and one submitted image placement. You have inspected the storefront and a physical sample instead of inferring their state from ArtDrop.

// One placement
The source is yours; the physical result is Printify's.
ArtDrop submits one image placement. Verify crop, scale, substrate, and repeat behavior with the product and a sample.

Good to know

  • ArtDrop sends one Printify image placement. It does not generate mirror, half-drop, half-brick, grid, scatter, or seamless repeats.
  • The backend contains no four-fabric allowlist, fixed blueprint IDs, or fixed cut dimensions.
  • ArtDrop does not read back how Printify or its print provider physically repeats or scales the submitted placement.

Troubleshooting

  • Fabric missing? Change the search and inspect Printify directly. ArtDrop shows no more than 50 search matches.
  • Unexpected crop, scale, or repeat? Compare the saved one-image placement with the exact Printify product and a physical sample. The backend cannot prove the provider's physical output.

How to undo or clean up

Disable the saved Printify template to stop future use. Delete an unwanted provider product and storefront listing separately.
