Evidence note
Hold isolation, explicit decisions, allowed rates, durable schedule, and release contracts were verified. A recent full scheduled external batch was not run in production certification.

What this does

Keep a multi-image upload held until you explicitly choose immediate or paced release.

Before you begin

  • Confirm the active store, product line, templates, copy inputs, and external-write risk before selecting a release mode.
  • Use matching sheet/sidecar files in the same upload when the batch needs per-image copy or routing.

What changes outside ArtDrop

Publish all now releases held files to the normal worker and can create external products. Start scheduling releases them at the chosen rate. Dismissing with Escape or the backdrop is not consent to publish and leaves files held.

ArtDrop held multi-artwork batch dialog offering safe scheduled publishing or explicit publish-all-now control
Choose batch timing. A multi-artwork batch remains held away from the worker until you explicitly schedule its release or choose to publish every item now.

Steps

  1. Upload the batch

Drop multiple distinct artworks. ArtDrop places them in a hold area that the worker cannot claim before a decision.

  2. Choose immediate or paced

In Publish N artworks choose Publish all N now, or Space them out over time and select 1, 2, 5, or 10 per day, or approximately 1 per hour.

  3. Watch Batch Schedule

Confirm Images queued, next drop, and rate. The persistent rate selector offers the same paced choices plus All at once.

  4. Change or clear deliberately

Save Schedule changes the rate. Clear Queue is not delete: it removes scheduling and returns files to the normal queue, where they can become eligible for processing.

Expected result

The card shows the durable queued count and next release; due artwork moves into the normal processing log once.

Limits and non-goals

  • Hosted scheduling has no separate Pause button; change the rate or use Clear Queue only with the stated release consequence.
  • The Mac full-folder Batch Processor is a different desktop-only workflow.

Troubleshooting

  • If the decision window closes, do not assume publication started; the files remain held. Contact support if no recovery control is visible before uploading another batch.
  • If counts differ, stop before Clear Queue and record the filenames/status.

How to undo or clean up

Scheduled items can be returned to the normal queue, not deleted. Remove external products separately if a released item already published.
