Publish digital downloads and prints on Etsy

Create Etsy digital downloads from your artwork, or publish physical products through a Printify shop or Gelato store connected to Etsy.

Before you begin

  • Connect your Etsy shop under Storefront.
  • For physical products, connect the Printify shop or Gelato store linked to that Etsy shop.

How it works

ArtDrop publishes digital listings directly to Etsy. Physical products reach your Etsy shop through the Printify shop or Gelato store you connected to it.

Add an Etsy store. Connect your Etsy shop and choose digital downloads or physical products.
ArtDrop additional Etsy store editor with manual shop and token fields plus Printify shop ID and Gelato store ID fields for physical POD.

Steps

  1. Choose digital or physical

    Choose Etsy during setup or add it later under Storefront. Select digital downloads or save physical product templates.

  2. Connect storage and printing

    Choose artwork storage for digital downloads. For physical products, select the Printify or Gelato destination connected to your Etsy shop.

  3. Upload your artwork

    Add the artwork to Drop Zone and follow it in Live Log.

  4. Check the Etsy listing

    Review the images, title, description, price, and tags. For digital downloads, also check the downloadable file. For physical products, check the provider’s product and variants.

Expected result

Your Etsy shop has a listing for the artwork, with either a downloadable file or the physical product you selected.

Good to know

  • You can use Etsy without a Shopify store.
  • ArtDrop prepares listings. Etsy and your print provider handle purchases and fulfillment.
  • Physical Etsy products use Printify or Gelato.
  • Etsy supports up to 13 tags per listing. ArtDrop limits each tag to 20 characters, titles to 140, and descriptions to 5,000.

Troubleshooting

  • A physical listing is missing? Check the Printify or Gelato product and confirm it is connected to the intended Etsy shop.
  • A digital preview or download is missing? Check the listing files and artwork storage connection before trying again.

How to undo or clean up

Change or remove the listing in Etsy. For a physical product, also check its Printify or Gelato product.
