Before you begin

  • You need at least two stores, durable catalog/publication relationships, persisted recent sales evidence, and eligible unused target artwork.
  • The current customer Analytics refresh path is unavailable, so this page can use only evidence already persisted.

What changes outside ArtDrop

Find and Dismiss are local. Prepare review handoff stores a brief and status only; it does not create a pending drop, approve work, or publish anywhere.

Steps

  1. Select the pair

    Open Opportunities, choose a Source store, a different Target store, and Proven source artwork.

  2. Find matches

    Choose Find owned artwork matches. Read the recorded sales evidence and the text, tags, analysis, aspect-ratio, or optional color evidence behind each score.

  3. Choose a local disposition

    Choose Prepare review handoff to save a review brief, or Dismiss opportunity to remove the recommendation from the active list.

  4. Continue manually

    Prepared does not create a pending item or link directly into Review. Confirm the intended destination and start the supported review/drop workflow separately.

Expected result

The card records Prepared or disappears after dismissal; no external listing or provider object is created.

Limits and non-goals

  • Similarity is deterministic matching, not a forecast or promise of future sales.
  • An empty page can be correct even with two stores when sales proof is missing, stale, or already used.

Troubleshooting

  • Do not follow the old empty-state advice to refresh Analytics; those endpoints return FEATURE_UNAVAILABLE. Confirm persisted evidence or contact support.

How to undo or clean up

Dismiss has no promised customer restore control. Preparing is local and needs no external cleanup.
