Publishing routes and results

Guide reviewed . Your available routes depend on your connected store, selected templates and enabled features.

A product ID identifies a result. Check the product in its destination to confirm its current draft or live status.

Reading a result

Completed means ArtDrop recorded the required steps for that result. Pending means work or review remains. Failed means a required step was refused or stopped. Unknown means ArtDrop could not confirm the outcome. Check the existing product before retrying or uploading again.

The signed-in guide shows saved worker updates. Refreshing those updates does not perform a new provider check. If there are no saved rows, use the existing product and provider panels to find your results.

Gelato templates to Shopify

Destination: The Shopify storefront connected to the selected Gelato store

What you provide

  • Your artwork, an enabled Gelato template and the Gelato store connected to your selected Shopify store.

Check the result

  • Gelato confirms the product is active and supplies its Shopify product ID. Review mode also checks that the product remains private.
  • Open the existing product in Shopify to confirm its current draft or live status.

Result identifiers

  • Gelato product ID
  • Shopify product ID
  • Drop ID
  • Shopify collection ID when created

If progress stops

Check the existing product in Gelato and Shopify. Use Retry Sync when offered. Uploading again can create another product set.

  • A product still being prepared or sent from Gelato is pending.
  • A completed Gelato step does not independently confirm that a customer can buy the product in Shopify.
  • Orders and fulfillment remain with your storefront and its connected provider.

Gelato templates to Etsy

Destination: The Etsy storefront connected to the selected Gelato store

What you provide

  • Your artwork, an enabled Gelato template and the Etsy-connected Gelato store selected for this ArtDrop store.

Check the result

  • Gelato confirms the product is active and supplies its Etsy listing ID.
  • Open the existing listing in Etsy to confirm its current draft or live status.

Result identifiers

  • Gelato product ID
  • Etsy external listing ID when returned
  • Drop ID

If progress stops

Check the existing product in Gelato and your connected Etsy shop before uploading again.

  • Physical products reach Etsy through your Etsy-connected Gelato store.
  • A product accepted by Gelato may still be waiting to appear in Etsy.

Gelato catalog products to Shopify

Destination: The selected Shopify store

What you provide

  • Your artwork, an enabled Gelato catalog template with your chosen variants, and connected Gelato and Shopify stores.

Check the result

  • ArtDrop first creates a private Shopify product, then checks that each selected variant is connected to Gelato.
  • Live mode checks publication in Shopify. Review mode leaves the product private for you to inspect.

Result identifiers

  • Shopify product ID and GID
  • Gelato product ID from connection evidence
  • Shopify variant IDs
  • Drop ID

If progress stops

Check the existing Shopify product and its Gelato connection. Use the existing recovery controls when offered. A failed check can leave a product that needs attention.

  • This Gelato catalog route supports Shopify.
  • A Shopify product ID alone does not confirm that its variants are connected or that the product is live.

Printful Native/API products

Destination: The selected Printful Native/API store

What you provide

  • Your artwork and an enabled Printful template with supported catalog variants.

Check the result

  • ArtDrop checks the saved product and its variants in your selected Printful Native/API store.
  • The completed product is available in Printful. This route creates no Shopify or Etsy listing.

If progress stops

Check the existing product in Printful before trying again. An interrupted result may still have created the product.

  • Choose a Native/API store when you want the product in Printful itself.
  • Use the separate Printful connection to Shopify when you need a Shopify listing.

Printful connected to Shopify

Destination: The selected Shopify store and its verified Printful connection

What you provide

  • Your artwork, a Printful template and the matching Printful store connected to your selected Shopify store.

Check the result

  • ArtDrop creates a Shopify draft, waits for Printful to import it, then checks the configured variants and saved images.
  • Review mode keeps the product private. Live mode checks publication in Shopify.

Result identifiers

  • Printful job ID
  • Printful sync product ID
  • Shopify product ID
  • Shopify variant and media IDs
  • Drop ID

If progress stops

Use Retry in the Printful job panel to check the saved product and continue its progress. Open a ready draft to review it.

  • Printful Native/API is a separate route that creates products in Printful itself.
  • An interrupted request is checked before it is attempted again.
  • The listing image can be a Printful mockup or your artwork when a preview does not arrive in time. Review the image before relying on it.

Printify to Shopify

Destination: The Shopify storefront connected to the selected Printify shop

What you provide

  • Your artwork, an enabled Printify template with your selected product and variants, and the Printify shop connected to Shopify.

Check the result

  • Printify creates the product and sends it to your selected storefront. ArtDrop checks the Shopify product ID when it becomes available.
  • Open the existing product in Shopify to confirm its current status.

Result identifiers

  • Printify product ID
  • Shopify product ID when resolved
  • Drop ID

If progress stops

Check the existing product in Printify and Shopify. Use Retry Sync when offered. A missing confirmation does not mean you need a replacement product.

  • This route requires a Shopify-connected Printify shop.
  • Printify accepting the product does not independently confirm that customers can see it in Shopify.

Printify to Etsy

Destination: The Etsy storefront connected to the selected Printify shop

What you provide

  • Your artwork, an enabled Printify template and the Etsy-connected Printify shop selected for this ArtDrop store.

Check the result

  • Printify creates the product and sends it to your connected Etsy shop.
  • Open the existing listing in Etsy to confirm its current status.

Result identifiers

  • Printify product ID
  • Etsy external listing ID when available
  • Drop ID

If progress stops

Check the existing product in Printify and your connected Etsy shop before uploading again. Keep the Printify product ID if the listing has not appeared yet.

  • Physical products reach Etsy through your Etsy-connected Printify shop.
  • Printify accepting the product does not independently confirm that customers can see it in Etsy.

Digital downloads directly to Etsy

Destination: The selected Etsy shop

What you provide

  • A connected Etsy shop, enabled digital listing mode, your artwork preview, a downloadable file and the listing details.

Check the result

  • ArtDrop creates a draft and attaches the preview and download. Your configured publishing mode determines whether it stays a draft or is sent for publication.
  • If a required file or publication step cannot be confirmed, open the existing Etsy listing to check it.

  • Drop ID

If progress stops

Open the existing listing in Etsy and check its preview, download and listing state before uploading again.

  • Digital downloads use your direct Etsy connection.
  • Physical Etsy products use the separate Gelato or Printify connections.

Reviewed Pinterest Pin

Destination: The reviewed board on the connected Pinterest account

What you provide

  • A Shopify product ArtDrop can confirm is live, an eligible Pinterest board and the exact Pin content you review in ArtDrop.

Check the result

  • After you approve the Pin, Pinterest returns its Pin ID.
  • Check the result in the Pinterest panel and open your board to confirm the Pin.

Result identifiers

  • Pinterest Pin ID
  • Source Shopify product ID
  • Reviewed draft identity

If progress stops

Check the existing result and your Pinterest board first, then return to the reviewed Pin workflow if further action is needed.

  • Direct Pinterest publishing is separate from the Pinterest sales channel in Shopify.
  • Review the exact Pin content and board before publishing.

Connected Shopify sales channels

Destination: Eligible app publications on the selected Shopify store

What you provide

  • An existing Shopify product and the sales channels you have installed and configured in Shopify.

Check the result

  • Shopify returns a publication result for each selected channel.
  • Each connected channel may have its own approval and display requirements.

Result identifiers

  • Shopify product ID
  • Shopify publication IDs

If progress stops

Check the product in Shopify and review the connected channel requirements before retrying a failed publication.

  • Connected channels control their own eligibility, approval and synchronization.
  • Pinterest for Shopify is separate from the reviewed Pin workflow in ArtDrop.
