Create a Mirror repeat for fabric

Before you start

ArtDrop turns one finished artwork into a Mirror repeat for supported Printify fabric products. Mirror is the only automatic repeat mode currently live.

Choose Mirror under Tile this for fabric. Set the motif size and ground color in the preview.

Choose one of four supported products

ArtDrop supports four Printify Fabric by the Yard blueprints fulfilled by MWW On Demand. Confirm the current provider specification because catalog details can change.

ArtDrop has no dedicated quilting-weight-cotton integration. Choose fabric from the current provider specification and your physical sample, since a cotton product name alone cannot establish weight, weave, feel, shrinkage, or fitness for a quilt.

Prepare the finished artwork

Prepare the artwork to the selected provider's resolution and size specifications.

• Use the provider print area. Check the current blueprint and variant dimensions in Printify before you finalize the canvas.
• Add safe space. Keep critical faces, text, signatures, and borders away from expected trim or sewing areas.
• Build in seam allowance when needed. Add sewing margins and pattern-piece guides to the artwork itself.
• Use enough pixels. Follow the provider's quality guidance at the final print size. DPI metadata records scale, while the image pixels carry the detail.
• Flatten the full layout. If you want a patchwork, border, or cheater-cloth-style composition, the source must already contain that complete arrangement.

Save the Printify fabric template

In Templates, add a Printify product, choose the exact Fabric by the Yard blueprint and MWW On Demand, then save the intended variant, Mirror repeat settings, and retail price.

   The saved Printify shop connects this template to the store that receives the listing. Confirm the shop before you upload.

   Choose the fabric and MWW On Demand

   Select one of the four supported blueprints and its MWW On Demand provider. Match the exact blueprint instead of choosing a similar name.

   Select the cut you will actually sell

   Choose the current variants you can inspect and support. Review the Mirror repeat in the provider preview for every selected variant.

   Price

   Set the retail price and save

   Base production cost is only one input. Add shipping, storefront fees, payment fees, taxes, returns, sample costs, and your margin before you set the retail price.

Provider Cost Comparison brings together available base costs from your connected print providers and saved Printify templates. Compare the product, variant, currency, and cost source shown for each row. Shipping, taxes, and selling fees are additional. Confirm the final cost for your chosen product and destination with its provider.

Choose Refresh to request updated provider references. The last lookup time appears below the table. Saved template costs keep their saved values, so check those amounts in Printify when setting your prices.

Run one test drop

Start with one representative artwork and one active fabric template. Follow it in the Live Log, then open Printify and your store to confirm the panel before adding more designs.

   Upload the print master from the file picker or drop zone. Clipboard paste preserves the copied image's current resolution, so use the original file when print resolution matters.

   Review the listing draft

   Check the material, size, use, care, and production wording. Keep every claim aligned with the provider specification and your sample, and describe the design as a panel rather than a seamless repeat.

   Follow your product

   The Live Log shows progress through the provider and your store. Use Copy Log to save the details for support or compare them with the product in Printify.

Verify Printify and the storefront

Open the finished product in Printify and your store. Confirm the details there, then use the physical sample as your textile proof.

Order and judge a sample

Order the exact fabric and cut you plan to sell. Judge the received product in the conditions your customer will use it, then update the source, template, pricing, or copy before launch.

• Color and contrast: compare important hues and dark detail with the source and preview.
• Scale and crop: measure the printed focal point, safe area, and any border.
• Hand and structure: feel the drape, thickness, weave, and surface for the intended sewing or display use.
• Care behavior: follow the provider instructions and evaluate wash, dry, shrinkage, and edge behavior before describing them.
• Cut usability: measure the usable printed area rather than relying on the nominal variant label alone.

Publish a physical fabric listing to Etsy

Publish through your own Etsy-connected Printify shop. ArtDrop creates product and listing data only. It does not access orders, customers, payments, shipping, or fulfillment. It does not relay orders or provide checkout.

Check production-partner requirements in Etsy, then confirm the Printify publication result and listing state before going live. ArtDrop cannot read Etsy's production-partner approval.

Common fabric problems

The repeat needs adjustment

Return to the preview and change the motif size or ground color before the next drop.

The crop or scale is wrong

Pause the listing. Compare the source proportions with the provider print area, correct the complete panel file or template placement, and create a fresh test product only after checking for duplicate records.

The material copy is too confident

Edit the title and description to match the current provider facts and your sample. Use ArtDrop's Products editor for supported Shopify copy fields, then review and save the correction. Manage Etsy copy in Etsy.
