What this does
Voice requires a personal Anthropic key. Upload Writing, Website, and Store Identity use root or default rules; only Image Trainer sends a store ID.
Before you begin
- Save and test a personal Anthropic key before using any Voice source.
- Choose Image Trainer when rules must be written into one selected store's voice bucket. Treat the other visible sources as root or default voice inputs.
What changes outside ArtDrop
Voice analysis creates suggested writing rules and publishes nothing. The wizard copies suggestions into fields and sends a best-effort save request without awaiting or confirming it. Image Trainer previews and refines tags during chat, but Save Checked Rules persists writing rules, not that tag array.
Steps
-
Upload visible writing sources
Upload at most 10 DOCX, PDF, TXT, CSV, JPG, JPEG, or PNG files per request. This visible uploader calls document analysis and applies its result to the root or default voice.
-
Understand CSV selection
The visible uploader drops CSV rows shorter than 40 characters, deduplicates text, and selects verbose and recent rows. The combined document corpus is capped at 120,000 characters.
-
Verify the wizard save
Voice profile applied means only that the fields changed. The browser also starts a best-effort save request, but it neither awaits nor checks the response. Reload the root or default settings to determine whether the data persisted.
-
Use Image Trainer for store-scoped writing rules
Analyze and refine one image, then save selected voice, content, never-use, never-mention, or example rules. Set persistent base, line, or per-image product_tags separately.
Expected result
The saved writing rules are present in the intended root or store scope, confirmed by reloading. Persistent product tags remain configured separately.
Good to know
- The visible combined document corpus is capped at 120,000 characters. Its CSV reader discards rows shorter than 40 characters.
- Website analysis tries the supplied URL and six common pages, keeping at most 15,000 characters per page and 80,000 combined.
- Image-refinement feedback is limited to 2,000 characters. Preview tags are not among the rule keys that Save Checked Rules accepts.
- Voice Trainer accepts up to 10 files per request: DOCX, TXT, PDF, CSV, JPG, JPEG, and PNG. ArtDrop does not currently set a per-file byte limit for these samples. Combined extracted text is limited to 120,000 characters.
Troubleshooting
- Voice endpoint says no key? Save a personal Anthropic key. Managed Web copy does not satisfy these endpoints.
- Rules appeared under the wrong store? Upload Writing, Website, and Store Identity are root or default scoped. Only Image Trainer sends the selected store ID.
- Profile said applied but disappeared? The wizard did not await or confirm its save request. Reload and save the fields again.
How to undo or clean up
Edit or replace rules in the scope where they were saved. Removing a preview tag does not change persistent product tags; edit those separately.
