Write product listings in your voice

Let ArtDrop draft your product copy from the artwork and your writing preferences, or supply your own titles and descriptions.

Before you begin

  • Open Copy to choose how each listing field should be written.

How it works

ArtDrop can draft titles, descriptions, SEO copy, and image alt text. You can also use filenames, templates, or your own copy. Product tags come from your saved settings and artwork metadata.

Steps

  1. Choose your copy options

    Select generated copy, a filename, a template, or a blank value where the field offers those choices.

  2. Choose how to pay for generation

    Use the options shown in your account. ArtDrop Web offers managed copy credits; you can also connect your own supported provider key. Mac generation uses your own key.

  3. Add your writing style

    Use Voice Trainer to build writing preferences from your work. Product lines can add instructions for individual collections.

  4. Set tags

    Add base tags and product-line tags. Supply artwork-specific tags with product_tags in a copy sheet or JSON file.

  5. Review when you choose

    Turn on Review copy before publishing if you want to edit and approve each drop’s copy. Each waiting drop then appears in Drop Zone under Waiting for your review, with the title, description, and tags for every destination open for editing. Choose Approve to publish now, Schedule to release at a daily or hourly pace, or Reject to cancel that drop. You can also edit existing storefront listings in Products.

Expected result

Your products use the writing approach and style you chose. When copy review is enabled, publishing waits for your approval.

Good to know

  • Copy review is off by default. Leave it off for automatic publishing, or turn it on for your first drops and switch it off once the voice sounds right.
  • ArtDrop Web includes 500 managed copy credits each month. The app shows your available balance and purchase options.
  • Using your own provider key uses that provider account’s allowance and billing.
  • Generated copy should be checked for accurate artwork details and product claims.

Troubleshooting

  • Generation failed? Check the message, your credit balance or provider key, and the product before retrying.
  • The wording needs work? Update your voice rules or edit the draft in copy review.

How to undo or clean up

Change your copy settings for future drops. Edit existing listings in Products or directly in the storefront.
