Compare print provider costs

Compare available base costs from your connected print providers and saved Printify templates to help choose products and set retail prices.

Before you begin

  • Connect the print providers you want to compare.
  • Know the product size, material, and destination you want to price.

How it works

The comparison groups cost references by product type. Each row identifies its reference product and the source of its cost, so you can compare the sizes, materials, and currencies that matter to your shop.

Steps

  1. Open the comparison

    Open Provider Cost Comparison from your product setup area.

  2. Compare the reference products

    Read the product and variant details, currency, and source for each row. A catalog reference, an existing Printify shop product, and a saved template may describe different sizes or materials.

  3. Refresh when needed

    Choose Refresh to request updated references from your connected providers. Saved template costs keep their saved values; check those amounts in Printify when pricing a product.

  4. Set your retail price

    Allow for production, shipping, taxes, selling fees, and your margin before saving a product price.

Expected result

You have cost references to compare products and make a better-informed pricing choice.

Good to know

  • The table shows base product costs. Shipping, taxes, and selling fees are additional.
  • Prices and availability can change. Confirm the selected product’s final cost with its provider.
  • A missing price means a cost was unavailable for that row.
  • Provider references may be reused for up to 30 minutes. The last lookup time appears below the table. Refresh does not update saved template costs.

Troubleshooting

  • A provider is missing? Check its connection and refresh.
  • A price seems different? Compare the exact variant, currency, destination, and any provider plan discounts.

How to undo or clean up

Reading or refreshing the comparison does not change your saved product prices.
