What this does

Connect the intended Printful store, choose variants and placement, and set prices before a controlled Shopify drop.

Before you begin

  • Have a valid Printful token and a connected Printful store.
  • Know the print placement and retail price for each selected variant.

What changes outside ArtDrop

Saving templates changes ArtDrop configuration. A normal drop can create Printful and Shopify product records. Printful’s connected-store integration, not the Gelato fulfillment bridge, owns Printful order fulfillment.

Steps

  1. Connect the store

    Open Setup → 3 Printers, enter the token, load stores, and select the exact Printful destination.

  2. Select catalog variants

    Choose the supported product, variants, placement, and positive retail price. Save the configured set.

  3. Confirm multistore mapping

    For a non-default Shopify destination, confirm an explicit Printful store mapping. If the UI cannot provide the required mapping, stop and contact support.

  4. Run one drop

    Publish one test, inspect Printful and Shopify records, then confirm the provider’s store integration is prepared for orders.

Expected result

The configured variants save, the connection remains healthy, and the test product appears only in the intended destination.

Limits and non-goals

  • Printful does not enter the current Review & Publish hold.
  • Catalog and regional availability can change at Printful.

Troubleshooting

  • For missing stores/variants, refresh the provider catalog and verify the token’s account.
  • For an unknown create outcome, inspect Printful and Shopify before retrying.

How to undo or clean up

Disable future templates locally and remove unwanted external products in Printful/Shopify. Revoke the token in Printful when retiring access.
